How Tuyen became proficient in English
1. Became highly motivated to succeed (to find a job)
2. Identified free on-line tools to accomplish the mission
3. Implemented her own program
4. Stuck with it for six months (only 2 hours per day)
English as a Second Language (ESL) skills change lives. My wife, Tuyen, taught herself to become highly proficient in English (Figure), which has opened many opportunities for her. Our family wants to widely share what we have done by turning our experiences into initiatives. We want to rapidly grow these initiatives to have real impact - to help disadvantaged children worldwide.
We will implement online self-learning, on-line mentorship and in-person teaching here in Vietnam. Our long-term vision is to change the lives of of millions of disadvantaged children worldwide through learning English.
